International Outreach Initiative

We are excited to share with you that GEM Outreach will be traveling to Uganda on a mission trip for the third time this summer!

Our previous trips have been life-changing, and we know that God is calling us back to continue showing love and sharing Jesus. We will once again be working at a partner clinic to assist in medical care, provide counseling and ultrasounds to pregnant young women, as well as education/teaching. We will share the gospel door to door with partner churches, work with children in schools, feed homeless youth in the Kampala slums, pray with families for healing, and will minister at Hummingbird House – a transitional home for girls living as orphans and in prostitution. These are just a few of the exciting opportunities we will have to share and show the love of Christ as we continue in our mission to evangelize, educate and empower those that we serve.

As you can imagine, Earlene and I are excited to play even a small role in this mission as we both see this as an international expression of our local call to be bridge builders and ministers of reconciliation to Christ.

We would like to invite our supporters, stakeholders, friends and family to participate in our work in any way that you felt led to do so. Firstly and most importantly, we invite you to consider joining us through prayer support and become a member of our prayer team. Secondly, please consider helping us reach our financial goal for the trip by donating to GEM Outreach. Our total expenses for the ten-day mission are $10,000. Your contribution of any amount is tax-deductible and will help cover our direct costs, medical supplies, medications, school supplies, evangelism materials, community outreaches and Ugandan Bibles.

Lastly, we want to thank you for taking the time to consider joining us in our servant leadership and efforts to continue to evangelize, educate and empower as many people as we can wherever we are in the world . Prior to our departure, we will share specific prayer requests for the mission. When we return, we will share photos and details of GOD’s MIRACLES that will be accomplished on our trip. We can’t wait to serve in faith and fortitude! 

We will once again evangelize and restore the brokenhearted through the power of Jesus Christ, educate the youth and empower the poor with the the love and grace of supporters like YOU, so please pray and give as the Lord leads.
